Relaxing in Banjar Natural Hot Spring
There are a lot of things you can do in Bali. It is not only about the beaches, rice fields, or parties and beers. There are some ways to enjoy Bali far from crowded places and you can totally relax your body and mind. One of the things you can do in Bali to relax is relaxing in natural hot springs. There are a lot of natural hot springs in Bali, one of the most famous natural Hor Spring in Bali is Banjar Hot Springs.
Banjar Hot Springs is located in Buleleng regency. It takes around 3 hours from Kuta to reach Banjar Hot Springs, but only 30 minutes from the capital city if Buleleng Regency, Singaraja. You have to go to Banjar Village of Banjar District in Buleleng regency to be in Banjar Hot Spring. Banjar Hot Springs is to be believed as one of the oldest natural hot spring. People believed Banjar Hot Spring is hundred years old and has been used since the kingdom time in Bali.
Once you are in Banjar Hot Spring, you will find three pools of natural hot springs. These pools of Banjar Hot Spring have different size and depth. The first and the second pools are build closed to each other and designed like stairs. The first pool is higher than the second pool. The first pool of Banjar Hot Spring has 8 showers with the height is around 1 meter of each fountain. The size of the first pool in Banjar Hot Spring is 12 meters long and 1, 5 meters wide, with 1, 5 meters depth.
The second pool is the largest pool in Banjar Hot Spring, it is right under the first pool with 12 meters long and 10 meters wide. The depth of the second pool is from 1 meter to 2 meters depth, so the second pool of Banjar Hot Spring is not really kids friendly. The third pool is located a bit separated from the other pools. The third pool is also the smallest pool in Banjar Hot Spring. Even though it is the smallest pool in Banjar Hot Spring with only waist depth, the third pool has the biggest shower among the other pools. People come to the third pool of Banjar Hot Spring to enjoy this big shower for natural back massage since it has a pretty big volume of water.
Since that Banjar Hot Spring is a perfect place to relax, yet it is pretty far from the center of Bali like Kuta or Denpasar, it is better for you to rent a driver rather than ride your own scooter. The other way to enjoy Banjar Hot Spring and places around is to make a trip around the Buleleng Regency and you can rent a room near Banjar Hot Spring so you do not have to drive or ride back after relaxing in Banjar Hot Spring.
